I’m David “Reno” Akinnuoye, the DJ behind Beats on the Download. My journey with music began when I was just a kid, mesmerized by the magic of real vinyl at my local barbershop. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft at clubs, weddings, corporate events, and private parties. One of my biggest takeaways from spinning all kinds of music—from hip-hop to pop to R&B—is that there’s no right or wrong style. Good music is all about the connection it creates with the crowd.
As the sole DJ for the moment (with big plans to welcome other talented DJs to the family), I pride myself on blending beats, reading the crowd, and bringing the right energy to every occasion. My ultimate goal is to create memorable dance floors and lasting smiles, one track at a time.
